About
Pokemon White is the pair version to Black, set in the same all-new Unova region and following the same story against Team Plasma and their leader N — but with Zekrom, the Deep Black Pokemon's opposite number, as the box legendary players catch partway through the campaign. The Unova Pokedex, mostly new species with no returning Pokemon until the National Dex unlocks, is shared between both versions.
White's biggest structural difference from Black is White Forest, a player-grown wooded area that fills up with visiting trainers the more you interact with them online or locally, functioning as White's counterpart to Black City. A set of White-exclusive wild encounters rounds out the differences, making trading between the two versions useful for a complete Unova Dex.
