Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance follows Juste Belmont, grandson of series hero Simon Belmont, as he searches a castle in Romania for his missing childhood friend Lydie and for the scattered remains of Dracula that his grandfather once hunted down — only to discover the castle isn't quite what it seems.

The game's central twist is structural: Juste eventually finds a second, overlapping version of the castle, and progress means moving between both to reach areas that are only accessible from one side or the other. Running alongside the exploration is the story of Maxim, Juste's rival and fellow descendant of vampire hunters, whose growing obsession with Dracula's power drives much of the plot's tension.
