Metroid Zero Mission

Metroid Zero Mission is a full remake of the original 1986 Metroid, rebuilding Planet Zebes with modern series conventions — an in-game map, more abilities available earlier, and pacing closer to Super Metroid than the sparse NES original — while keeping the same core hunt for Mother Brain and the Metroid specimens Ridley and Kraid guard.

Its biggest addition is what happens after the credits would have rolled on the original game: Samus's Power Suit gets destroyed by Space Pirates, and Zero Mission continues into a tense stealth section as Zero Suit Samus — no weapons, just evasion — sneaking through the Chozodia ruins and a crashed pirate ship to recover her equipment and escape as the Fully Powered Suit.
