Final Fantasy VI Advance is the GBA port of the SNES classic (originally released in the US as Final Fantasy III), following an ensemble cast of over a dozen playable characters across the collapse of a magic-powered empire and the shift from the hopeful World of Balance into the fractured, post-apocalyptic World of Ruin — still one of the most ambitious story structures the series has attempted.

This version adds a fresh English translation closer to the original Japanese script, plus brand-new bonus content not in the SNES original: the Dragon's Den dungeon and the brutal Soul Shrine superboss gauntlet, along with a bestiary and other collector's extras. The Esper system, where characters equip magical creatures called Magicite to learn spells and boost stats, remains the backbone of the game's character customization.
