Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky is the enhanced third version of the Explorers duology, dropping the usual gym-and-badge structure for a roguelike dungeon crawler where you and a partner Pokemon — both determined by a personality quiz at the start of the game — form a rescue team and take on procedurally generated dungeons floor by floor.

Explorers of Sky adds new playable Pokemon, extra dungeons, a special episode mode that lets you play as separate casts of characters after the main story, and Sky Peak, a late-game area exclusive to this version. Combat is turn-based and tile-based rather than the series' usual battle screens, closer to a classic roguelike than a mainline Pokemon RPG, with permadeath-style stakes if your whole team faints deep in a dungeon.
