📖About

Super Mario All-Stars took four separate NES cartridges — Super Mario Bros., the fiendishly hard Japan-only Lost Levels, the reskinned Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA), and Super Mario Bros. 3 — and rebuilt every one of them with 16-bit sprites, redrawn backgrounds, and a proper battery save slot instead of a password screen.

It's easy to undersell how big that last part was: SMB3 finally had a save file, and Lost Levels — a game most Western players had never legally touched — became instantly accessible, poison mushrooms and all. The visual overhaul wasn't just a coat of paint either; physics and hit detection got small tweaks across the board, close enough to the originals that speedrunners still argue over which version is 'correct' for a given trick.

This page hosts the verified Super Mario All-Stars ROM, built for Delta Emulator's SNES core on iPhone — load it directly with no BIOS file or extra setup required.
