Pokemon Blaze Black

Pokemon Blaze Black keeps the Unova storyline, Team Plasma plot, and gym progression of the original Black version, but rewrites the encounter tables so almost the entire National Dex — species from every generation up to that point — shows up somewhere in the region instead of being locked behind trades or postgame-only areas. It's the same journey through Unova, just with a roster that isn't limited to Gen 5 newcomers.

Trainer battles are noticeably harder than the vanilla game, with rebuilt teams that use smarter movesets and higher-tier evolutions earlier than you'd expect, and the physical/special split is applied across the board so older Pokemon and moves scale correctly against the wider Dex. It was built by the same author as Storm Silver and shares the same design philosophy: same story, deeper Pokemon variety, real difficulty.
