Pokemon Storm Silver

Pokemon Storm Silver keeps HeartGold's Johto-then-Kanto structure, gym order, and story beats intact, but rebuilds the encounter tables so nearly the entire National Dex up through Generation 5 is catchable in the wild without a single trade or event required. Routes that used to offer two or three species now hold a rotating cast pulled from across the whole Pokemon roster, so team-building stays fresh on repeat playthroughs.

Trainers throughout both regions carry noticeably stronger, better-built teams than the original HeartGold, and the hack applies the physical/special split so older-generation moves behave correctly against the expanded roster. It's built for players who already know Johto by heart and want a harder, more varied run rather than a new region to learn from scratch.
