Pokemon SoulSilver is the pair version to HeartGold, remaking the original Pokemon Silver on Nintendo DS with the same rebuilt Johto region and post-game Kanto expansion. Lugia is this version's box legendary, replacing HeartGold's Ho-Oh, and found in the same Whirl Islands location as the original Silver.
Everything else mirrors HeartGold structurally — the same gyms, the same Pokewalker-era design choices, and the same full-Kanto post-game that lets you battle through both regions on one cartridge.
