Gaia
Pokemon Gaia
An entirely new region built from scratch · custom Orbtus map, hand-drawn tiles, and a story independent of the mainline games · based on Pokemon FireRed
About This Hack
Pokemon Gaia throws out the familiar Kanto map entirely and replaces it with Orbtus, a fully original region built with hand-drawn tilesets, new towns, and routes that owe nothing to the games it's patched over. You play as a rookie tasked with investigating an ancient meteorite tied to legends of Groudon and Kyogre, and the plot unfolds through a cast of original rivals and gym leaders rather than reused mainline characters.
Under the hood, Gaia runs the modern physical/special split so old Gen 3 movesets finally behave the way they do in later games, alongside updated move data, rebalanced trainer teams, and quality-of-life fixes like faster text and running indoors. The region is dense with side content — hidden grottos, legendary encounters, and postgame areas — built specifically to reward exploring off the critical path instead of beelining the next badge.
This page hosts the pre-patched Pokemon Gaia ROM for Delta Emulator on iPhone — no separate patching tools required.
