Pokemon Saiph
An original region built from the ground up · modern mechanics like the physical/special split, updated typing, and a fresh Pokedex · built on the FireRed engine
About This Hack
Pokemon Saiph is a lesser-known but well-regarded original-region hack — instead of remixing an existing map, it builds its region from the ground up, with its own routes, gym leader roster, and rival characters. What sets it apart from a lot of similarly-scoped hacks is how much modern polish it packs into the FireRed engine.
The physical/special split and an updated type chart are both in from the start, so battles play closer to how Pokemon works today than how the GBA originals did, and the Pokedex mixes familiar species with hack-exclusive encounters spread across the new region. It's a steady, well-paced hack rather than a punishing one, which makes it a good pick for players who want something new without diving into a Kaizo-tier difficulty spike.
This page hosts the pre-patched Pokemon Saiph ROM for Delta Emulator on iPhone — no separate patching tools required.
