This save picks up right after the Johto Elite Four and Champion Lance have been defeated, with the gate to Kanto already open. Lugia, Silver's version-exclusive legendary, has been tracked down through the Whirl Islands and captured, and the badge case shows all 8 Johto badges earned.

It's built for players who want to skip straight to Gold and Silver's signature postgame — the only mainline Pokemon campaign that hands you a second full region to explore after the credits. From here it's a straight shot through Kanto's eight gyms toward the final rematch against the original Red at the summit of Mt. Silver.
