📖About

F-Zero was one of three launch titles for the SNES in 1990, and it was the game most people used to prove Nintendo's new Mode 7 graphics chip was worth caring about. A single rotating, scaling background layer faked a fully 3D racetrack the console had no business rendering, and F-Zero pushed it faster than anything else on the system — four anti-gravity hover-racers screaming around the Mute City circuit at speeds no cart-based racer had matched before.

Captain Falcon, Dr. Stewart, Pico, and Samurai Goroh make up the four selectable pilots, each with a different balance of top speed, acceleration, and body weight, racing across fifteen tracks split into three leagues. There's no item-based combat here — just raw racing lines, boost management on a limited energy meter that also acts as your health bar, and tracks that punish a bad line by launching a racer clean off the circuit.

This page hosts the verified F-Zero ROM, built for Delta Emulator's SNES core on iPhone — load it directly with no BIOS file or extra setup required.
