Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword was the first entry in the series to release outside Japan, using Lyn's Tale as an extended tutorial arc before opening into the main story starring Eliwood and Hector, two young lords investigating the resurgence of the Black Fang — a mercenary group turned cult manipulated by the dragon-blooded Nergal in his search for a way to reopen the Dragon's Gate.
