Pokemon Diamond was the first mainline entry to bring the series onto Nintendo DS, introducing the Sinnoh region with its centerpiece Mt. Coronet split, the Physical/Special split for move damage, and the Global Trade Station for trading over Wi-Fi with players anywhere in the world.
Diamond's version mascot is Dialga, the Temporal Pokemon, and the game's story runs through Team Galactic's plan to reshape the universe using the legendary Lake Trio and Cyrus's control of time and space. Along the way, the Underground offers a full second layer of exploration for digging up items, fossils, and building secret bases with friends.
