Mega Man Zero

Mega Man Zero jumps roughly a century past the Mega Man X series, waking the legendary reploid Zero into a world where Neo Arcadia — ruled by the seemingly benevolent Copy X — is actually hunting down reploids under the pretense of "Maverick" containment. Zero joins the Resistance and takes mission after mission against Neo Arcadia's forces to expose what's really going on.

Combat runs faster and more punishing than the X series, with mission-based level select instead of a straight stage lineup, and a scoring system that grades your performance (S through C rank) based on time, damage taken, and enemies destroyed — pushing skilled players toward tighter, more efficient runs. Cyber-elves offer optional power-ups at a cost to your final rank, adding a risk/reward layer to an already demanding platformer.
