Sonic Advance 2

Sonic Advance 2 pushes the series' speed even further than the first Advance game, redesigning stages around momentum chains, boost pads, and long uninterrupted dash sequences that reward players who can read a level ahead rather than react to it. It also introduces Cream the Rabbit and her Chao companion Cheese as a new playable character alongside Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy.

The faster pace came with a tradeoff many players noticed at the time — tighter margins for error and less room for exploration compared to the first Advance — but it cemented a distinct identity for the sub-series as the fastest, most momentum-focused Sonic games on the platform.
